Easter is coming! And so are free Easter pattern links!

Easter is right around the corner. I sit here and smile as I recall last Easter and a 16 month old Joe Joe walking around our yard collecting plastic eggs in his little basket, filled with delight...

Oops, umm... filled with delight...

I can't wait to see Lily Rose this year in her very first Easter dress and bonnet.

Watching Joe color eggs for the very first time will be such a joy!

On that note, I've been exploring Easter patterns and am overjoyed with the cuteness of it all! Here are some finds I'd like to share with you. Enjoy!

  1. Are the easter egg ornaments in your shop too? I'll look in the morning!I would buy those in a snap!

John decided that he didn't want to hide eggs this year.. he doesn't really like eggs... He wants to decorate bananas and hide those! I'm soooo excited about this kooky idea!

  4. Marie, nope - 99% of people don't allow others to use their patterns to make items to sell for personal profit. I'm going to be working to create my own designs, however, to feature here and over at Etsy.

I love the way your & John's minds work! Talk about re-working! That's Happymaking at its finest.

Rachel - I agree- what a fun idea!

Rachel - Let's hope they don't throw the eggs at us and on the floor. OOh doggie.

  6. Got it Miss Heather! I'm a fan of those mini toys too! Now I wish that I could crochet! I am so happy that you have this blog now too. It was a little hard to access and comment at Retro Heather because it wasn't a google blog! This means that I can properly stalk you!

  7. Helene, I'll bet you all have a blast - even Garrett! I'm wondering what kind of dye to go for. Traditional or funky.

Marie, thank you so much for the practical advice you give me so freely. I consider it invaluable!

    Paula! Yay! Thank you!
