How do you have your posts set up? All of your Asides are to the side, but when I click Home it takes me to Joe's post not the more recent Barbie or Amazon posts. Is this on purpose or is it just me? I don't want to miss new posts.
Oh, and I love pong! Brings back memories of me and my brother when we were er.. young[er]. Our first video game! :wink:
Thanks, Anne! I am using the Sideposts Widget: http://alkivia.org/wordpress/sideposts/. I like the ability to make asides, or quick little blurbs that don't co-mingle with posts that have a little quality or substance (lol) to them. Unfortunately, the asides are not included in the regular RSS feed. There is an RSS button in the asides area to subscribe to the asides feed separately.
May I ask your opinion? Would you rather see these one-sentence blurbs off to the side, or entered as regular posts? Would you subscribe to the separate RSS Feed for asides, or would you consider it an off-putting nuisance?
I have actually been sitting here on your site looking at the Asides to the left up there and everything else. It's hard to say how anyone else would think. From what I do gather, though, is your loyal and regular readers would subscribe and not find it put-offish [if they are interested in your Aside updates]. They probably already figured out how this works seeing as they have commented on these posts and I had inquire. :?
Ultimately, I like it. I don't know how to make it more clear and maybe I'm the only one who needed an explanation. I will definitely bookmark the widget for future reference.
Looks (un) Poo Poo to me. It is not intrusive and since it is not "animated", no music or anything like that, I think it won't annoy your readers:) Good luck, I hope you make a lot of sales...
